SOUTH PACIFIC MEGALODON
These Unique colored teeth come from the South Pacific Ocean 800 miles east of Austrailia and a 3 day boat ride north of a small Island called New Caledonia. They are dredged from a 1000 ft down using a scoop 2 meters wide .The boat used for this operation the TUI 2 makes passes with in a 3 mile stretch . The scoop is dragged for 30 min . Then it takes approximately 30 min to winch the scoop back up from 1000ft to the boat's deck. They do approximately 5 passes in a day. They would catch approximately 15 -140 teeth at pass. The site is producing less and less teeth every time though.
